Böhler Schmiedetechnik produces high quality parts for aerospace applications, power generation and other high tech industries, supplies more than 200 technologically advanced customers world wide.
The major forging equipment at Bohler consists of two different technologies. There are two large screw presses with press forces of 31,500 tons and 35,500 tons and open and closed die forging hammers in different energy ranges which supporting the product range from an input weight of 1 kg to more than 1000 kg.

Quality is of the highest importance within Bohler Schmiedetechnik. Product quality is continuously monitored during the process as well as in the final inspection before packaging and shipping the parts.

The machine shop in Bohler is used for the in-house manufacturing of our tools as well as for the pre-machining and final machining of aerospace structural parts, turbine
blades and special forgings.
State-of-the-art turning lathes are used for the machining of engine discs to sonic shape.
