Product- and Process development has major impact on the success of our forgings. Together with the support of design and materials & process department, sales as well as production we develop forgings according to customer’s specification and internal needs for smooth serial production. The development process starts with a simulation process using the Finite Element software DEFORM v10.1.2 with implemented material data of our raw-materials in use. Evaluation of simulation results and the subsequent forging trial help to verify the success of our designed process. In case of new materials or processes, new equipment, customer or specification special project teams are designated to run internal, national or international development projects. With a close interface to the research and innovation team we implement research results in an early prototyping stage.
